Scholarship Recital Report

Carol announced for Selina Chu that the recital on November 3rd was a great success.  More than $3,500 was raised for the chapter.  There were 520 tickets sold.  Thank you to Christine Kiehl who was the top ticket seller this year.

Unfortunately, the sanctuary at Cedar Park Assembly did not have good acoustics for the recital so future programs will not be held at that venue.  Grateful appreciation was expressed for all who volunteered for this event, especially Yunbo Cassady who hosted Mr. Roberts and Bill and Sherry Owens who hosted the post recital reception.

Adjudication Report

Sheri Skidmore referred members to page 24-25 of the Yearbook for information about Adjudications in March 2007.  The event is open to any teacher, however, if the teacher is not currently a member of the chapter, the entrance fee will be $125 over and above the specific fees for the student.

The forms are available on-line at www.eastsidemusicteachers.org.  The excel version will compute all fees.  Forms and a check for the fees must be postmarked to Elena Romanoff by January 4, 2007 or put in the box at Sherman Clay no later than 5:00 pm January 8, 2007.
