Scholarship Competition Report

Yunbo Cassady introduced the 4 co-chairs of the committee and thanked the entire committee for their work.  Rule booklets are now available.  The operating cost for the competition increased due to the need for two judges for each division.  In addition to revenue from ticket sales, members can make a donation to the Scholarship Competition Operating Fund.  The committee is also looking for businesses (including piano studios) that would like to advertise in the program.  In addition, teachers entering students in a state or national composition competition are also required to sell tickets to the recital since these students benefit from the scholarship funds raised through this event.

Carol Hibbard thanked the committee for all their hard work.

Pre-Meeting Recital Report

Nicole Kim announced that there would be no recital prior to the October and April meetings.
