New Officers/Nominating Committee
Carol Hibbard distributed a copy of the current Bylaws for our chapter and introduced an amendment to these bylaws, which would restructure the officer positions.  Due to the increased size of our chapter, the executive board recommends adding a new officer position of President Elect and dividing current duties of President and Vice President between the three offices of President, President Elect, and Vice President.  In addition, the Vice President would no longer assume the office of President.  The Executive Board presented the following motion.

MOTION The chapter bylaws be amended to incorporate the office position of President Elect, and to revise job descriptions of President, President Elect, Vice President, and Treasurer.

Sharon Lawrence seconded the motion.  The motion passed unanimously.

Upon passing of this motion, the Nominating Committee will now begin searching for members to fill these positions.

Programs/Workshops
Kathleen Ash-Barraclaugh will present the post-meeting program.  Ross McIver, a CPA in Bellevue, discussing tax issues, will present the post-meeting program in March.  The next workshop will be on March 4, 2007 from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm at Sherman Clay.  Steven Spooner will discuss "The Art of Practicing".

The meeting adjourned at 10:15 a.m.
