Finance Report

The finance report was presented. (see attached) It stands approved as presented.

Membership Report

The membership update was listed on the agenda. New members present at the meeting introduced themselves. Members were reminded that if an address needs to be changed, please email Rebecca Bennett at emtamembers@gmail.com  The board updated the members on the Active Membership policy voted in by the chapter at the last general meeting.  A few decisions were made by the board to make the policy better. The name was changed to "Participating Membership" since the status of an "active member" has already been explained in the chapter bylaws.  The Participating Membership will not go into effect until next year in to allow for all members to have ample time reviewing and planning their involvement. A line at the bottom of the Participating Membership questionnaire will be marked "other" in case members feel they have been involved in some way not represented on the list. There will be space to fill in the way in which they have participated.
